Pre-Sales Engineer - Lighting Division

About the role

ECC International, an electrical trading company active across the UAE, is looking for a Pre-Sales Design Engineer for its Lighting Division in Dubai. The role works with consultants, contractors and clients from concept through site execution, preparing lighting proposals, calculations, quotations and submittals, and supporting the sales team with technical presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lighting design proposals using design software and AI generation tools
• Perform lighting calculations and ensure compliance with project standards
• Prepare quotations, BOQs, technical submittals and compliance documents
• Review project drawings and specifications
• Provide value-engineered lighting solutions
• Coordinate directly with consultants, contractors, clients and suppliers
• Attend technical meetings and site visits as required
• Support the sales team with technical presentations and product selection

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in lighting design or pre-sales
• Strong technical, communication and documentation skills
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred

Required skills

• Dialux Evo, AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop or equivalent tools
• Working knowledge of lighting standards and UAE project requirements
