Pre‑Sales Engineer (AV & Lighting)

About the role

The Pre‑Sales Engineer will lead the technical processing of RFPs and tenders for complex international AV and lighting installation projects. You will coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliant, high‑quality proposals and successful project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all tender and RFP responses meet technical client requirements.
• Process proposals and tenders for complex international installation projects.
• Manage and coordinate the technical planning team during the tender phase.
• Design and plan media and lighting installations independently.
• Review client‑provided planning documents and create detailed technical documentation.
• Prepare design reports, technical risk analyses, and preliminary schedules.
• Conduct internal and external project meetings and provide technical consulting to clients.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments such as Design & Engineering, Commercial, Project Management, and Procurement.

Required profile

• Degree or proven experience in Audio‑Visual Engineering.
• Several years of pre‑sales engineering or technical project management in AV/lighting installations.
• Strong understanding of technical project planning, execution and documentation.
• Knowledge of the commercial and technical aspects of the AVL industry for permanent or semi‑permanent installations in cultural and entertainment venues.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced, international, cross‑cultural environments.
