Primary School Class Teacher - Key Stage 2

About the role

The Arbor School is seeking a passionate, creative and reflective Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to inspire and challenge students as they develop greater independence, confidence and a deeper understanding of the world. The teacher will create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where students think critically, ask questions and take responsibility for their learning, preparing them for a confident transition into Key Stage 3.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver rich, engaging learning experiences aligned with the National Curriculum for England, supporting literacy, numeracy and the wider curriculum
• Nurture students' creativity, curiosity, resilience and independence
• Build strong relationships with students and families and work collaboratively with colleagues
• Contribute to the wider school community and support continuous professional development

Required profile

• Native-level English language skills
• Bachelor's degree in Education, or a Bachelor's degree with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience teaching Key Stages 1 and/or 2 in British schools
• A track record of outstanding teaching and learning, and the ability to create a caring, nurturing classroom
