Primary Teacher (Grades 1-5) - Dubai

About the role

A well-established school in Dubai is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join its team. The teacher will work in a supportive and dynamic environment, teaching a diverse group of students in grades 1 to 5.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for primary students (grades 1-5) in line with the curriculum.
• Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment where students feel motivated and safe to learn.
• Monitor and assess student progress, giving feedback and tailored support.
• Encourage the development of students' social, emotional and cognitive skills.
• Develop strategies for students with different learning needs and abilities.
• Work with colleagues, staff and parents to support student development and wellbeing.
• Take part in school events, parent-teacher meetings and extracurricular activities.
• Foster a love of learning and ensure every student is treated with respect.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Primary Education or a related field (or equivalent).
• Valid teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, teaching license).
• At least 2 years of experience teaching primary-aged children.
• Passion for working with children and strong communication skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in an international or multicultural setting is an advantage.
