About the role

GEMS Royal Dubai School is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join its growing team in Al Mizhar, Dubai, with an immediate start. The role involves delivering the British National Curriculum to a diverse student body and contributing to the school’s high standards of academic achievement and pastoral care.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons for primary pupils following the England National Curriculum.
• Maintain high expectations for student achievement, wellbeing and personal development.
• Assess student progress and provide targeted support to meet individual needs.
• Participate in enrichment, extracurricular and community initiatives to enrich school life.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote inclusive education and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Recognised UK teaching qualification with QTS or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching the National Curriculum for England at primary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for delivering engaging learning experiences.
• Commitment to inclusive education and meeting the needs of every learner.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to school community.

Required skills

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Experience with the British National Curriculum for primary education.
