Procurement Lead

About the role

Euro Mechanical is seeking a Procurement Lead to head procurement for its Services Business Unit. You will be responsible for sourcing materials, consumables, equipment and subcontracted services while guiding a team of Buyers and Procurement Officers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full procurement cycle from approved purchase request through RFQ, commercial evaluation, negotiation, PO placement and order follow‑up.
• Develop sourcing strategies for high‑spend categories such as PPE, tools, consumables, industrial materials, rental equipment, maintenance and specialist services.
• Consolidate demand, set up framework agreements, rate contracts, blanket POs and long‑term supply arrangements.
• Negotiate commercial terms focusing on total cost and value, and identify savings, cost avoidance and supplier consolidation opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance, coordinate corrective actions and develop alternative sources.
• Supervise and coach Buyers and Procurement Officers, allocate workload and monitor KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement or supply chain experience within oil and gas services.
• Proven experience in category management, strategic sourcing and framework agreement development.
• Knowledge of oil and gas equipment, specifications, materials and industry standards.
• Experience leading or supervising a procurement team.
• High level of integrity and commitment to compliance with ADNOC standards.
