Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager leads the organisation's procurement function, ensuring that all projects receive the right materials, equipment and services on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. This senior position combines strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier relationship management to drive cost optimisation and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and business goals.
• Manage the full procurement cycle: RFIs, RFQs, tendering, bid evaluation, purchase orders and contract awards.
• Source, evaluate and pre‑qualify suppliers and subcontractors; negotiate pricing, delivery and commercial terms.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost and delivery; conduct periodic evaluations.
• Analyse market trends, material price movements and supplier capabilities; prepare reports and risk mitigation plans.
• Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Lead, mentor and develop the procurement team, promoting best practices and procedural adherence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 7–10 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
