Procurement Manager

About the role

As part of Hermès Middle East's retail finance team, the Procurement Manager will oversee day‑to‑day procurement activities, ensuring accurate purchase order processing and supplier management in line with internal procedures. This newly created operational role offers cross‑functional exposure within a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create, process and follow up on purchase orders (POs) in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy of quantities, prices, delivery terms and cost centres.
• Manage supplier creation and onboarding, collecting and verifying required documentation and maintaining master data.
• Liaise with Accounting for invoice matching, collaborate with Retail Operations and Store teams to anticipate needs, and escalate discrepancies.
• Track and report on PO status, open orders and supplier performance, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
• Lead the local implementation of a dedicated procurement tool, coordinate with IT and central Procurement, conduct UAT, drive change‑management activities and provide post‑go‑live support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement operations or administrative purchasing.
• Proven ability to work with internal stakeholders and manage supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting tools.
• Solid understanding of procure‑to‑pay (P2P) processes.
