Procurement Manager

About the role

Etihad Energy Holding is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations in Dubai, UAE. The role involves managing procurement strategies, ensuring policy compliance, optimizing costs, and maintaining strong supplier relationships across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate purchase requests from different departments to ensure accuracy, budget compliance, and business requirements.
• Coordinate with department heads and senior management for purchase order reviews, approvals, and execution.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Monitor procurement budgets, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and provide reports to management.
• Develop supplier relationships, evaluate supplier performance, and reduce supply chain risks.
• Support urgent procurement requirements during operational, maintenance, or emergency situations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Over 10 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Experience in Shipping, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Terminal Operations sectors in the UAE is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of procurement standards, logistics, HSSE and local content regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP or Oracle.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to analyze data, evaluate bids and make informed purchasing decisions.
