Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will bridge quantitative spend intelligence with tactical vendor negotiations across GRG International’s global operations. You will be responsible for enterprise‑wide expenditure tracking, vendor mapping and reporting while independently handling trade agreements for small‑ to medium‑sized commercial categories.

Key responsibilities

• Aggregate, validate and interpret spend patterns across multiple international divisions, building dashboards, cost baselines and savings trackers.
• Lead commercial negotiations for small‑ and mid‑tier spend buckets, securing competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Maintain the global vendor index, monitor supplier scorecards, oversee onboarding and identify consolidation opportunities.
• Support technical purchasing cycles, track CAPEX approvals, coordinate RFQs and establish reference pricing for specialized goods and services.
• Ensure compliance with centralized purchasing rules, approval limits and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with operational, technical and finance leaders across diverse time zones.

Required profile

• 5+ years of purchasing experience with a focus on commercial analysis and supplier relationship management.
• Background in project‑driven businesses such as systems integration, construction contracting or specialized project services.
• CIPS qualification strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to communicate across borders and adapt to overlapping global time zones.
