Product Manager - Canon Middle East

About the role

Canon EMEA is looking for a Product Manager in Dubai to promote Canon products and solutions across the Middle East region. The role covers market analysis, product positioning, launches, training, budget planning and reporting, working closely with Area Sales and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market size, competition, pricing and dynamics, develop local sales strategies and regional marketing and sales action plans, and monitor market share and competitors.
• Define product pricing and positioning, negotiate product support and pricing with the business unit, support tenders, key accounts and special deals, and manage the tender pipeline.
• Coordinate new product launches across Middle East markets and manage the product lifecycle from launch to end-of-life.
• Deliver product training for internal teams and distributors, coordinate local programmes and keep training records up to date.
• Develop annual sales targets, sales plans and marketing budgets, advise Area Sales on product strategy and monitor monthly sales performance.
• Manage gross profit across promotions and tenders, track pricing and support from approval to delivery, and plan and run market development and promotional activities.
• Keep HQ informed on budgets, launches, pricing support and performance, and prepare reports, forecasts and business updates.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent with 15+ years of work experience.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people at all levels; formal classroom training desirable but proven coaching skills may suffice.
• Fluent written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Valid UAE driving licence, willingness to travel overseas and to respond to travel needs at short notice.

Required skills

• Familiarity with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
