Product Owner – Agile Scrum Team

About the role

The Product Owner will lead the definition and prioritisation of user stories for Etihad Airways’ digital products. Working within an agile scrum environment, the role ensures that each iteration delivers high‑quality features that meet clear acceptance criteria.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to shape product strategy, vision and roadmap.
• Maintain and prioritise the team backlog, coordinate dependencies across multiple scrum teams, and accept the final iteration plan.
• Detail features and user stories with acceptance criteria and tests, and validate delivery against the Definition of Done.
• Facilitate regular demos, iteration retrospectives and drive continuous improvement to increase velocity and quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in product development or as a Product Owner.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
• Certification such as CSPO or SAFe Product Owner is desirable.
• Proven ability to work with multiple teams and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Agile development methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management).
• Backlog management and user story creation with clear acceptance criteria.
• Experience delivering and launching technical products.
