Production Helper

About the role

Apparel Group is hiring a full-time production helper in Dubai. The role supports production operators during machine operations, keeps the production area clean and hygienic, and helps maintain continuous production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist production operators during machine operations by providing tools, materials and support.
• Help with machine cleaning and preparation before and after production runs.
• Perform basic tasks to support changeovers and maintain continuous production efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness of the production area, including floors, workstations and equipment surfaces, and dispose of waste properly.
• Sanitize tools and equipment regularly to prevent contamination and maintain GMP compliance.
• Support operators in inspecting machines and production lines for cleanliness and readiness before start-up, and report irregularities, damages or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Check that materials and components are correctly placed and organized for production.
• Work with operators and supervisors to complete tasks on time, follow company policies, safety guidelines and SOPs, and help during peak production periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of production processes and equipment handling.
• Ability to perform cleaning, material handling and support tasks efficiently.
• Physical stamina to handle moderate lifting.
• Attention to detail, good communication and teamwork skills, and willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends and overtime when required.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hygiene standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to safety and cleanliness standards.
