Production Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our paint manufacturing plant in Sharjah, UAE. You will work on the production line ensuring quality, safety and efficiency while supporting a global team. The role involves handling raw materials, operating equipment and maintaining clean production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, prepare and handle raw materials and finished products in line with SOPs.
• Operate manual and semi‑automatic mixers, grinders and filling machines, adjusting settings to maintain product consistency.
• Conduct in‑process quality checks and report any deviations to the supervisor.
• Perform routine cleaning of tanks, mixers, pumps and work areas using designated solvents.
• Label, store and dispose of waste and leftover solvents according to environmental and safety regulations.
• Document cleaning solvent usage in the Reuse Solvent Register.
• Load and unload materials safely, using appropriate PPE and handling equipment.

Required profile

• SSC/SSLC qualification (mandatory).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in paint production is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English (mandatory).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Operation of manual and semi‑automatic production machinery (mixers, grinders, filling equipment).
• Adjustment of machine settings and monitoring of production parameters.
• Conducting in‑process quality inspections.
• Cleaning and sanitising production equipment using specialized solvents.
• Safe handling of hazardous materials and use of personal protective equipment.
