Production Supervisor – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in a pharmaceutical facility in the UAE. The role ensures safe, efficient and GMP‑compliant production of solid‑dosage pharmaceutical products.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise dispensing, manufacturing and packaging activities to meet daily production targets.
• Ensure all operations comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), SOPs, EHS standards, hygiene and PPE requirements.
• Monitor output, efficiency, yield, waste and adherence to schedules.
• Maintain equipment readiness through qualification, calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Review batch records, SOPs, protocols and other manufacturing documentation.
• Lead deviation investigations, CAPA, change controls and ensure timely closure of quality documents.
• Coordinate material availability with Warehouse and Supply Chain teams.
• Support internal, customer and regulatory audits and inspections.
• Train, develop and motivate production personnel to build a high‑performing team.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost productivity, quality and cost control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience with solid‑dosage form manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, batch documentation, quality systems and manufacturing controls.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
