Production/Factory Manager

About the role

The Production/Factory Manager will lead the entire production process at Royal Wood Factory, overseeing carpentry and woodwork projects from planning through delivery. This role ensures that high‑profile client projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans and schedules aligned with customer orders and project deadlines.
• Allocate manpower, machinery, and equipment efficiently to maximise output.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to guarantee product standards.
• Control production costs, identify savings, and optimise processes.
• Lead, train and motivate production teams, fostering a safe and collaborative work environment.
• Continuously improve processes to boost productivity and streamline operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
• Prepare regular production reports and performance metrics for management review.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a joinery, wood‑working or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
