Program Director – Infrastructure Portfolio

About the role

Parsons Corporation is looking for an experienced Program Director to lead a high‑profile portfolio of infrastructure projects for a key government client in Abu Dhabi. This senior leadership position requires a commercially‑minded professional who can build trusted client relationships and drive portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, governance and performance management of a major project portfolio.
• Serve as the senior client‑facing leader, cultivating relationships with executive stakeholders, partners and delivery teams.
• Oversee portfolio safety, quality, scope, schedule, cost, risk, commercial outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Provide leadership, reporting, escalation and decision support to Parsons and client leadership.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring appropriate resources, capabilities and focus.
• Drive commercial discipline, including forecasting, margin performance, contract management, change control and risk mitigation.
• Identify opportunities to expand Parsons’ role and strengthen long‑term client partnership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business or a related field.
• 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in infrastructure, construction, engineering or program management.
• Proven track record leading large, complex projects or portfolios for government or public‑sector clients.
• Strong commercial, financial, contractual, risk‑management and operational leadership capability.
• Executive‑level communication skills with the ability to influence senior clients and internal leadership.
