Project Assistant Vice President (Construction) - Luxury Real Estate

About the role

AHS, a leader in luxury real estate development, is looking for an experienced Project Assistant Vice President (Engineering) in Dubai. The role oversees engineering operations across luxury developments, working with senior leadership and managing cross-functional teams so that engineering processes meet the company's standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of engineering functions across luxury real estate projects
• Work with project managers, architects and contractors so that engineering designs meet project specifications and timelines
• Develop and implement engineering policies, procedures and best practices
• Manage project budgets and resources for engineering activities
• Run regular project reviews and engineering assessments to find improvements and mitigate risks
• Build relationships with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance
• Lead and mentor engineering teams and stay up to date on industry trends and regulations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related field; a Master's is preferred
• 10-15 years of proven experience in a senior management engineering role in super high-rise luxury real estate development
• Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
• Sustainability experience in engineering is a plus
