Project Controls Director – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Parsons is looking for an experienced Project Controls Director to lead the coordination of multiple engineering disciplines, clients, contractors and stakeholders on large‑scale infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for ensuring delivery aligns with scope, schedule, cost and quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project controls processes, tools and procedures to monitor cost, schedule and performance.
• Create and maintain a Master Schedule that integrates multiple project packages and addresses interdependencies.
• Review and approve contractors’ baseline schedules and validate resources for timely completion.
• Conduct "what‑if" analyses, Earned Value Analysis (EVA) and prepare regular progress and performance reports.
• Identify risks, document them in a Project Risk Register and propose mitigation strategies.
• Review claims, Extension of Time (EOT) requests and perform delay analysis.
• Lead project controls workshops, provide training and guidance to controls teams.
• Support deployment of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) across the program.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of experience on large‑scale infrastructure projects, including rail and aviation.
• Prior experience in the Middle East is an advantage.
• Strong communication, leadership and coordination abilities.
