Project Coordinator - Energy Sector

About the role

Decision Management Consultants is recruiting a Project Coordinator for one of its clients, a leading provider of operations and maintenance services for power generation and desalinated water production. The client operates across more than 10 countries in the Middle East and North Africa, South Africa, Eastern Europe and Vietnam, managing over 28,000 MW of power generation capacity and more than 5.3 million cubic metres per day of desalinated water.

Key responsibilities

• Support project execution from the bidding stage through construction completion
• Take part in technical evaluations, scope clarifications and tender reviews
• Coordinate site execution activities and manage contractor interfaces
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and approved procedures
• Review material procurement and vendor documentation for compliance
• Provide on-site technical support and resolve construction-related issues
• Develop and maintain S-curves and progress monitoring reports
• Support project controls, reporting and coordination meetings

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in end-to-end project execution, from tender submission to construction completion
• Experience in tender preparation and technical submittals, coordinating with site teams, contractors, consultants and clients
• Ability to maintain accurate, audit-ready project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Experience developing automated trackers and dashboards
