Project Cost Control Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Cost Control Manager to lead cost management activities for major Oil & Gas EPC projects, ensuring robust planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial performance monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets, cost breakdown structures, cash‑flow forecasts and cost control systems aligned with scope and contracts.
• Monitor expenditures, perform earned value analysis, identify variances and recommend corrective actions to protect profitability.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports, maintain accurate forecasts for EAC/ETC and support senior management decision‑making.
• Evaluate cost impact of scope changes, support claims preparation and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Identify cost risks, perform sensitivity analysis and manage contingencies.
• Collaborate with project, commercial, procurement, engineering, construction and finance teams and present cost status to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in project controls/cost control on large‑scale Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or related field; master’s degree or certifications (PMP, AACE, CCP, Primavera P6) preferred.
