Project Engineer (Civil)

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a full-time Project Engineer (Civil) in Ajman within the civil construction sector. The role supports the Project Management Team and senior leadership on medium to large-scale civil projects in the UAE/GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify site surveying and setting out for accuracy
• Assist in preparing and executing the Project Execution Plan (PEP)
• Ensure technical drawings, sketches and shop drawings reach site engineers accurately
• Oversee project mobilisation and closeout
• Attend weekly progress meetings and help prepare meeting minutes
• Monitor site work, give weekly status reports and keep daily contact with subcontractors and planners
• Coordinate material procurement, shipment and delivery, and run inventory control systems
• Support client payment valuations and other financial documentation
• Handle client complaints professionally and review contracts against tender agreements
• Comply with QHSE policies and coordinate with project personnel

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience in medium to large-scale civil projects in the UAE/GCC
• Fluent English; Arabic preferred
