Project Engineer

About the role

The Project Engineer will oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, safety and quality standards are met while maintaining clear communication with clients and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor project lists, schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
• Coordinate daily and weekly tasks with subcontractors and produce progress reports for clients.
• Document meeting actions, manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate meetings with minutes distribution.
• Create and manage a project management calendar to track goals and objectives.
• Ensure site activities comply with safety plans, conduct daily safety inspections and enforce PPE use.
• Monitor installation work for compliance with specifications, drawings and quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality inspections, review material deliveries and address defects promptly.
• Prepare final hand‑over documentation, close punch‑list items and meet client expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical or related field).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in project or construction engineering.
• UAE driving licence and personal vehicle.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with MS Project and Primavera scheduling software.
