Project Manager - Data Centres

About the role

WSP is looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex Data Centre projects across the region. The role sits in a multidisciplinary design consultancy and covers architecture, building engineering, specialist disciplines, infrastructure, utilities and master planning. It is client-facing and requires strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Data Centre projects from initiation through to completion, leading integrated design teams and acting as a key point of contact for clients.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Monitor progress and performance against objectives and deliverables, and identify, manage and mitigate risks and issues.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subconsultants and subject matter experts, and support design assurance and technical governance.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards and health and safety requirements, and help secure approvals, permits and stakeholder agreements.
• Review deliverables for quality, prepare project reports, and support commercial management including cost control, change management and contract administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience within a design practice.
• Experience managing Data Centre projects through multiple phases and coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Strong client-facing experience, preferably in a consultancy, engineering or project delivery environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent are advantageous.
