Project Manager – Drones / Robotics / Autonomous Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager – Drones / Robotics to lead technology deployment projects involving UAVs, robotics, IoT and autonomous systems across the UAE. The role combines strong project management capability with practical knowledge of drone operations, aviation approvals and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of drone, robotics, IoT or autonomous technology projects.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, vendors, clients and regulatory stakeholders.
• Support aviation approvals, flight permissions, operational safety and risk assessments.
• Oversee drone deployment activities including mission planning, flight operations, payloads, sensors and communications.
• Identify project risks, technical constraints and operational dependencies.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, quality and safety requirements.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Coordinate testing, deployment, implementation and handover activities.
• Manage project documentation, change requests, issues and action trackers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in drones, UAVs, robotics, IoT, autonomous systems or technology deployment.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations, flight approvals, operational safety and risk management.
• Practical understanding of UAV platforms, mission planning, payloads, sensors, communications and data workflows.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
