Project Manager - Interior Fitout

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead interior fit‑out projects from planning through handover in Dubai. You will coordinate design, construction, and client teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage interior fit‑out projects from mobilization to final handover, controlling schedule, budget, and quality.
• Coordinate design teams, site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to maintain project momentum.
• Prepare and update project schedules, BOQs, procurement plans, and cost tracking throughout the lifecycle.
• Supervise daily site activities, monitor progress against approved drawings, and manage labour and subcontractor teams.
• Control project costs, variations, and change orders, flagging overruns early.
• Enforce HSE compliance in line with UAE regulations and client requirements.
• Handle authority approvals and coordination with DDA, Trakhees, DEWA, and municipal bodies.
• Conduct regular client meetings, provide progress updates, and manage expectations.
• Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation before installation.
• Manage handover documentation, snagging, and post‑handover defect resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing interior fit‑out projects in the UAE.
• Proven track record delivering commercial, retail, or office fit‑out projects.
• Valid UAE driving licence (mandatory for site visits and client meetings).

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of fit‑out materials and construction drawings.
• Understanding of UAE building codes and HSE regulations.
• Expertise in BOQ preparation, cost control, and variation management.
• Proficiency in project scheduling and coordination across design, procurement, and site teams.
