Project Manager MEP - Mechanical Engineering

About the role

An experienced Project Manager with a strong Mechanical Engineering background is sought to lead the delivery of major MEP projects in the UAE. The role covers managing MEP construction, project execution, teams, subcontractors, consultants and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead MEP projects from mobilization through completion and handover
• Manage project scope, programme, budget, quality and resources
• Oversee mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and associated MEP works
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders
• Lead project teams and ensure effective site execution
• Monitor progress, costs, procurement and subcontractor performance
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, HSE requirements and UAE standards
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in MEP
• Solid background in MEP contracting and project execution
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders
• UAE/GCC project experience highly preferred

Required skills

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and mechanical systems
• Commercial, planning, coordination and problem-solving skills
