Project Manager – Operations Efficiency

About the role

Lead the delivery of long‑term technical projects and programmes within Etihad Airways, ensuring they meet schedule, budget and business objectives. The role focuses on operational efficiency initiatives that support key performance indicators across the airline’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end implementation of cross‑departmental projects, creating and maintaining detailed work plans.
• Identify, analyse and communicate operational improvement opportunities, performing root‑cause analysis and ad‑hoc reporting.
• Engage with stakeholders, line departments and project sponsors to drive sustainable change and informed decision‑making.
• Develop business cases, evaluate cost‑benefit analyses and support change‑management activities.
• Monitor project risks, issues and change requests, ensuring impacts on timeline and budget are assessed.
• Report milestones and critical issues to senior leadership and ensure timely resolution.
• Contribute to the evolution of project‑management policies, standards and methodologies.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within airline operations.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and partner with line departments to implement lasting improvements.

Required skills

• Project‑management certification or proven knowledge of methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile.
• Strong analytical skills for root‑cause analysis and data‑driven insights.
• Experience in developing business cases and change‑management plans.
