Project Manager - Professional Kitchen

About the role

An experienced Project Manager with a Mechanical Engineering background is sought to lead commercial kitchen installation and fit-out projects from planning through to handover. The position is based in Dubai, UAE, full-time and on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage commercial kitchen installation and renovation projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget control.
• Review kitchen layouts, MEP drawings, ventilation systems and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and internal project teams.
• Oversee kitchen equipment installation and stainless-steel (SS) custom fabrication works.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, risks and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, food service regulations and project requirements.
• Prepare progress reports and manage client expectations through project completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in project management with commercial kitchen contracting companies.
• Proven experience in stainless-steel custom fabrication.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes and food service authority regulations.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, MEP systems, ventilation and installation requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management tools.
• Strong client coordination, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
