Project Manager – Technical Projects Department

About the role

The Technical Projects Department is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multi‑disciplinary engineering projects from concept through commissioning. You will oversee new plant construction, facility upgrades, and major modifications while ensuring compliance with shareholder guidelines and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical input during proposal and concept development, coordinating design, material specifications, procurement and tendering.
• Manage Project Management Consultants, supervise site activities and maintain project administration.
• Lead multinational contractors, ensuring delivery within time, cost, quality and safety objectives.
• Direct multi‑disciplinary engineering teams, review designs, specifications, costs and phasing plans.
• Prepare work programmes, terms of reference, project standards and procedures.
• Participate in company committees, offering expertise and guidance on project‑related matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale engineering or construction projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Excellent understanding of HSE requirements and industry codes.
• Financial authority and experience preparing budgets and cost analyses.
• Effective communication with external parties and internal stakeholders.
