Project Principal Consultant

About the role

SAP is seeking a senior Project Principal Consultant to lead large, complex SAP S/4HANA and cloud transformation programs for major enterprises across the Middle East. The role is based in Dubai and involves end‑to‑end responsibility from inception to on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multi‑disciplinary teams of 20+ members on programs lasting six months or longer, managing scope, schedule, cost, quality and resources.
• Conduct SAP Activate gate reviews, maintain audit‑ready documentation, and govern steering committees and executive reporting.
• Own commercial aspects including forecasts, margins, change requests and large project budgets.
• Drive SAP Business AI use cases (SAP Joule, embedded AI) across S/4HANA, SuccessFactors and Ariba, assessing data quality, security and change impact.

Required profile

• 10+ years of SAP project and program management experience with at least five large programs delivered.
• Proven ownership of three engagements with budgets of USD 2 million+ and recent delivery in the Middle East.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Utilities or FMCG sectors and functional knowledge of at least two S/4HANA areas (Finance, Supply Chain, HR).
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus; comfortable interacting with C‑level executives.
