Project Procurement Manager

About the role

Worley is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to lead procurement delivery for major EPC projects, ensuring third‑party services, materials, equipment and services are secured safely, commercially, within budget and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supply‑chain activities from planning through award, developing procurement plans, contracting strategies and vendor lists.
• Manage subcontracting and procurement packages through market enquiry, technical and commercial evaluation, negotiation, award and post‑award administration.
• Expedite specialised third‑party services, long‑lead items and coordinate drawings, technical documentation and recovery actions.
• Integrate procurement milestones into the master schedule, monitor risks and provide progress reporting with mitigation recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with client procedures, safety, quality, trade controls and responsible sourcing principles.

Required profile

• Approximately 20 years of supply‑chain and procurement experience, including at least five years as a Project Procurement Manager with a major EPC contractor in the Middle East.
• Proven delivery on large‑scale oil & gas, industrial, chemical or green‑energy projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply‑chain or related field; professional qualification such as MCIPS or CPSM is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to lead procurement specialists, manage competing priorities and work independently.

Required skills

• Strategic sourcing, bid evaluation, negotiation and contracting.
• Advanced use of ERP systems and procurement applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
