Project Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Al Turath Al Aseel Contracting LLC, a UAE construction company with over 25 years of experience in high-rise buildings, residential developments, luxury villas and complex projects, is looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to support its ongoing and upcoming projects. The position is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and manage tender and contract documentation, including BOQs.
• Assist in cost planning, budgeting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with the Estimation Department to ensure accurate project cost data.
• Monitor project progress and prepare interim valuations, payment applications and cost reports.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, variations and final accounts.
• Track expenditures and support cost forecasting and cash flow management.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors on commercial matters.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, legal and quality requirements.
• Assist in preparing and assessing claims and variations, and support the Senior Quantity Surveyor in commercial and contractual administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the UAE construction industry.
• Immediate joiner to the team.
• Sound knowledge of construction contracts and commercial practices.
• Strong communication, coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in PlanSwift and quantity surveying software.
