Project/Program Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Project/Program Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex banking technology projects for Synechron in Abu Dhabi. The role combines strong execution with stakeholder relationship management to ensure timely outcomes, proactive risk handling and disciplined financial control.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project/program planning and execution from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, timelines, and deliverables are met.
• Manage and coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (internal and external), maintaining clear communication and alignment.
• Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders; manage expectations and drive decision‑making.
• Develop, track, and maintain project/program plans, dependencies, and milestones.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; ensure issues are escalated and resolved effectively.
• Own program/project reporting (status, metrics, progress against plan), including governance cadence.
• Support budgeting, cost tracking, and financial forecasting; monitor spend vs plan and help manage variances.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and governance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing large‑scale projects or programs, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive risk‑management approach.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated financial acumen for budgeting and cost control.
