Public Area Attendant - Housekeeping

About the role

Kerzner International is hiring a Public Area Attendant for the Housekeeping team at One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai. The role keeps all public spaces of the resort clean, safe and welcoming, from lobbies and corridors to restrooms and other guest-facing areas.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests politely and professionally in public areas and respond promptly to their requests.
• Keep public areas clean and tidy, removing debris, dusting and cleaning surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of high-traffic areas, restrooms and entrances, and replenish tissues, hand soap, paper towels and other amenities.
• Arrange furniture, fixtures and fittings according to brand standards.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow hygiene, sanitation and safety standards, and store cleaning equipment properly.
• Keep storage areas clean, organised and well-stocked, and respect guest privacy.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in a luxury 5-star hotel or resort.
• Good presentation and teamwork.
• Good English communication; additional languages are an advantage.
• Adherence to company grooming standards and uniform requirements.
