Public Area Team Leader – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Join InterContinental Dubai Marina, a five‑star luxury hotel, as a Public Area Team Leader. You will lead a team that keeps all public spaces immaculate, ensuring guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Public Area team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene across all hotel public spaces.
• Coordinate daily cleaning assignments, conduct regular inspections of lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms, restaurants and back‑of‑house areas.
• Ensure all cleaning activities comply with hotel standards, HACCP requirements, health and safety procedures and brand guidelines.
• Monitor the proper use, handling and storage of cleaning chemicals, equipment and supplies, and report any defects.
• Train, coach and guide Public Area Attendants on procedures, equipment usage and safety practices.

Required profile

• A hospitality qualification or equivalent experience in a luxury hotel environment.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in housekeeping operations.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
