About the role

We are expanding our procurement team at EMA Ship Management in Dubai. The Purchasing Officer will manage global marine procurement operations, ensuring seamless supply chain execution for our managed fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end procurement processes for ship spare parts, provisions, marine stores, and technical services in compliance with company standards and international maritime requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with global marine vendors to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Coordinate with technical superintendents, vessel masters, and commercial teams to ensure timely delivery of critical supplies worldwide.
• Manage purchase orders, invoice verification, and shipping logistics while maintaining accurate procurement records and inventory tracking.

Required profile

• Mandatory marine experience as a Purchase Officer or Procurement Specialist within the maritime or shipping industry.
• Relevant degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Experience with procurement software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
