Python Engineer – Fintech Trading (Hybrid, Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for a Python Engineer to join an early‑stage fintech startup that is building an AI‑powered, fully automated trading platform for real‑world prediction markets. The role is based in Dubai and offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to collaborate on‑site while also working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python‑based services that power the trading system.
• Integrate AI coding tools such as Windsurf or Cursor into the development workflow.
• Collaborate with product and quant teams to implement trading algorithms and market data pipelines.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle from design to production monitoring.

Required profile

• 2+ years of commercial experience writing Python code.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑focused development tools (e.g., Windsurf, Cursor).
• Startup mindset with a willingness to build products from the ground up.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Prior exposure to quantitative or trading environments is a plus.
• Currently residing in the UAE, preferably Dubai.
