About the role

We are partnering with a prominent regional technology group that drives advancement across mobile, fintech, and AI-enabled platforms. The client seeks an accomplished QA Engineer specializing in automation to join a forward‑looking team in Dubai. The role focuses on architecting reliable mobile UI automation for Android and iOS, building modular testing frameworks, and expanding API test coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Create and sustain robust mobile automation scripts for Android and iOS using Appium or equivalent tools.
• Design scalable automation frameworks in Java or Python with emphasis on maintainability and reuse.
• Drive API testing efforts across HTTP services, incorporating reliability, performance, and security considerations.
• Embed automated tests into CI/CD workflows to accelerate feedback and improve deployment confidence.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine acceptance criteria and ensure testability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Mentor junior QA colleagues and advocate best practices in automation across the organization.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in mobile UI automation testing for Android and iOS using Appium or comparable tools.
• Strong coding proficiency in Java or Python, capable of crafting modular, reusable automation components.
• Hands‑on API testing background, including HTTP services; familiarity with gRPC is advantageous.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines within Agile environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaborative skills for working with diverse teams.
