QA/QC Engineer

About the role

Waagner Biro Bridge Services is seeking a detail‑oriented QA/QC Engineer to join its Dubai team. You will ensure operational excellence, compliance with industry standards, and the quality and reliability of bridge construction and marine engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive QA/QC plans and procedures aligned with organizational standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular quality audits, system reviews and operational checks to verify conformity with specifications.
• Monitor compliance, validate system performance, maintenance procedures and documentation.
• Perform testing and validation activities, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and System Integration Tests (SIT).
• Analyze performance metrics, identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed QA/QC reports, non‑conformance reports, corrective and preventive action plans, test logs and change control documentation.
• Establish risk assessment protocols and quality checkpoints in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications and system documentation throughout project lifecycles.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders during quality escalations.
• Provide quality awareness training and ensure HSE compliance during all audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or related discipline).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience in QA/QC within construction, bridge or marine engineering projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external contractors.
