QA/QC Inspector - Construction

About the role

Careers International is looking for an experienced QA/QC Inspector in Dubai to monitor construction activities and make sure all works are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience inspecting high-rise buildings, residential and villa projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications
• Monitor the quality of civil, structural and finishing works
• Inspect materials, workmanship and completed activities
• Coordinate with QA/QC engineers, site engineers, consultants and subcontractors
• Prepare inspection requests (IR), checklists and quality reports
• Verify that works follow approved method statements and ITP requirements
• Identify defects and non-conformities and report them for corrective action
• Maintain inspection records, quality records and testing documentation, and assist with handover documentation

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a QA/QC inspector on construction projects
• Experience in high-rise, residential and villa projects preferred
• UAE construction experience is an advantage

Required skills

• Good knowledge of civil construction inspection procedures
• Familiarity with drawings, specifications, checklists and inspection documentation
• Good communication and reporting skills
