QA/QC Supervisor – Instrumentation

About the role

The QA/QC Supervisor – Instrumentation will lead quality activities for instrumentation disciplines, ensuring compliance with the company’s quality management system and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, control and perform inspections and tests on instrumentation work and manage the inspection team.
• Monitor quality performance indicators, coordinate corrective actions and liaise with clients on quality issues, NCRs and observations.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments and use system tools (FMCS, SCMS) to track work activities.
• Apply instrumentation engineering principles, standards (ISA, IEC) and oversee instrument calibration, loop package preparation and control.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of direct inspection experience on capital projects in oil/gas, petrochemical or power plants.
• Experience with medium to large‑size projects in GCC and familiarity with project specifications and standards.
• Leadership and team‑management skills with ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• NDT Level II certification or higher.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation engineering, ISA and IEC standards.
• Expertise in calibration, quality control and inspection techniques for instrumentation and control systems.
