QC Inspector (Painting & Coating)

About the role

Archirodon, an international EPC contractor active for more than half a century in energy, marine, infrastructure and defense and security projects, is looking for a QC Inspector (Painting & Coating) to join its quality control team on a project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Review project technical specifications, drawings and BOQ to define quality and engineering criteria for coating and painting materials, workmanship and testing.
• Perform verification inspections of work elements related to electrical and instrumentation (E&I) works to ensure compliance with procedures and project requirements.
• Take part in on-site receiving inspection of coating and painting materials.
• Prepare, review concrete specifications, mix designs and ITPs.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Coating & Painting QC Inspector in the oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with Shell DEP and international codes and standards.
• NACE Level II or CSWIP / BGAS Grade 2 certification.
• Fluency in English; previous experience on ADNOC projects is preferred.
• Good communication, organizational and independent working skills.
