Quality Control Inspector

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to carry out inspections on assigned project segments, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and report nonconformities, follow up remedial actions, and sign off completed work components.
• Study project specifications and technical drawings to understand the work scope.
• Inspect work within the allocated area to ensure compliance with the quality inspection plan.
• Resolve minor issues on site and prepare non‑conformance reports for serious breaches.
• Issue inspection and testing quality records and verify their adequacy.
• Monitor progress and request Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) of welds at predetermined locations.
• Follow up on NDT results and ensure required actions are implemented.
• Generate daily inspection reports, sign off completed work segments, and forward reports for documentation.
• Liaise with the client’s QC representative and provide clarifications.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary technical diploma in engineering or equivalent.
• Discipline‑specific certification (e.g., Welding CSIPW 3.1, Coating BGAS Level II, E&I IECEX, Civil, NDT ASNT Level II) or multidiscipline certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar quality control role within the industry.
