Quality Engineer

About the role

Guardian Glass is seeking an entry‑level Quality Engineer to support its Quality Management System and help drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for recent graduates with a basic understanding of manufacturing processes who are eager to develop a career in quality management.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Identify and resolve quality issues quickly to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Assist in continuous‑improvement projects aimed at enhancing production efficiency.
• Perform basic quality control tasks such as sampling products and monitoring production lines.
• Collect and analyse simple quality data to help prevent defects.
• Support supplier quality checks by reviewing material documentation and addressing concerns.
• Help train production operators on quality standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with customer‑service teams to address feedback and complaints.
• Prepare reports and follow up on customer inquiries related to product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and a strong interest in quality management.
• Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn quality tools and techniques.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a positive attitude toward problem‑solving.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
