Quality & Hygiene Executive

About the role

Viya, part of wasl Hospitality & Leisure, is looking for a Quality & Hygiene Executive for its Food & Beverage department in Dubai. The role supports the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of quality assurance, food safety and hygiene standards across all Dubai Golf operations, ensuring compliance with HACCP, food safety legislation, internal SOPs and Dubai Golf standards through audits, corrective actions and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Food Safety Management System and HACCP plans, monitor critical control points, verify records and follow up on non-conformances
• Carry out scheduled and ad-hoc internal audits of kitchens, stores, service areas and events, prepare reports and track corrective actions to closure
• Coordinate SOPs across departments, keep them aligned with regulations and best practice, and monitor adherence
• Handle food safety and hygiene-related customer complaints, investigate root causes and maintain complaint logs
• Review monthly customer feedback, mystery shopper reports, Club 59 and Aldar internal audit reports, and support ISMS implementation
• Audit supplier stores, vehicles and handling practices and liaise with suppliers on corrective actions
• Prepare hygiene, HACCP and audit reports, keep accurate records and logs, and support health, safety and risk management initiatives
• Apply the 4 Service Steps and Dubai Golf standards, and take part in committees and training such as fire marshal or first aider
