About the role
The Quality Inspector supports Quality Control and Process Control activities by performing routine physical and chemical tests on raw materials, in‑process materials, and finished gypsum board products. The role ensures that all products meet required quality specifications and standards throughout manufacturing.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct routine physical and chemical laboratory tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products according to approved standards and procedures.
- Inspect in‑process and finished gypsum board products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Accurately record and maintain test results in logbooks, worksheets, and computer‑based systems.
- Identify and report any quality deviations or non‑conformities to supervisors and production teams.
- Maintain the QC laboratory and inspection area in a safe, clean, organized, and environmentally responsible manner.
- Comply with the Quality Management System (QMS), EHSMS requirements, and ISO 9001 standards applicable to the role.
