Quality Leader for MENAT Region and JAFZA Site

About the role

GE Vernova is seeking a Quality Leader to oversee the MENAT region and its JAFZA manufacturing site. Reporting to the Software and Controls Solutions Global Quality Leader, you will champion quality excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across critical energy infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and secure ISO‑9001:2015, TR&S, and IEEE‑1012 certifications for regional growth.
• Lead internal and external audit programs, acting as the primary owner of compliance certificates for JAFZA operations.
• Represent the customer voice during pre‑qualification and project quality engineering phases.
• Conduct daily Gemba walks, identify bottlenecks, and monitor Quality KPIs such as Customer Experience, Cost of Poor Quality, resolution cycle times, and non‑conformance management.
• Collaborate with Sales, Projects, Engineering, Operations, and Sourcing to enforce “Stop the Line” protocols and accelerate defect resolution.
• Provide rigorous quality oversight for contract manufacturers and supply‑chain partners.
• Drive Lean, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, and Shainin methodologies to implement data‑driven, scalable solutions.
• Mentor stakeholders to embed a Zero‑Defect, Built‑in‑Quality culture throughout the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five years of experience in quality leadership, commercial, operations, or supply‑chain roles with a strong focus on quality management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
