Radiographic Testing (RT) Technician – RPO

About the role

The role is for a Radiographic Testing (RT) Technician specialized in Remote Phased‑Array (RPO) work within Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification. The technician will support ADNOC projects in Abu Dhabi, ensuring high‑quality radiographic examinations while maintaining strict safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Protect the environment and enforce personal and co‑worker safety on site.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks, follow site coordinator instructions, and use all required safety devices.
• Maintain and correctly use tools, wear appropriate work clothing, and keep the work area clean.
• Perform film interpretation, densitometer calibration, and verify joint details according to client specifications.
• Classify indications, interpret radiographic codes and sensitivity requirements, and prepare final examination reports.
• Submit timesheets and coordinate with other NDT teams (PAUT, multi‑tech) for timely reporting.
• Manage radiation safety, dose monitoring, incident handling, and workplace monitoring for ADNOC projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients, HSE, and operations teams and support site audits and FANR audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in radiographic testing (ASNT RT Level II certified).
• Advanced RPO training and full‑package WMS certification for ADNOC.
• Strong communication skills in English (intermediate reading, writing and speaking).
• High school certificate (HSC) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to lead safety culture, conduct site audits and manage radiation safety programs.
