Radiographic Testing Technician / RPO

About the role

Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification, is seeking an experienced Radiographic Testing (RT) Technician with RPO expertise to support ADNOC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on safe execution of radiographic inspections, film interpretation, and radiation safety management.

Key responsibilities

• Perform radiographic testing, film interpretation, and densitometer calibrations according to approved procedures.
• Prepare and submit final radiographic examination reports and timesheets in a timely manner.
• Manage radiation safety, dose monitoring, and incident reporting on site.
• Ensure personal and co‑worker safety by following toolbox talks, using safety devices, and maintaining clean work areas.
• Verify joint details, classify indications, and evaluate results against acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with other NDT teams (PAUT, multi‑tech) for comprehensive inspection coverage.
• Participate in site audits, FANR audits, and promote a strong radiation safety culture.
• Maintain tools and equipment, and use appropriate clothing and PPE to prevent hazards.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in radiographic testing (ASNT RT Level II) on ADNOC projects.
• Advanced RPO training and full WMS package certification.
• HSC education with good communication skills (intermediate English reading, writing, speaking).
• Demonstrated ability to work safely, follow instructions, and manage documentation.
• Experience in site audits and handling FANR regulatory requirements.
